Tips For Rental Applications:

Tips For Rental Applications:

Many tenants are finding it increasingly difficult to secure rental properties they desire particularly due to the increase in demand and extremely high volume of applications that are being submitted for them. It can understandably cause a lot of frustration, stress, and heartache. In this article, I hope to help renters prepare for their quest in finding their new home and give tips on being well organised and pro-active.

Rental properties are undoubtedly in high demand. We are finding that some tenants after their inspection or Open Home, where they may well have fallen in love with the home, are experiencing disappointment and despair as by the time they complete their application, prepare the required documents, and submit them a tenant has already been approved and the deposit has been paid.

To try and avoid this we recommend preparing your application and documents in advance therefore should you like the home, your application can be submitted immediately by email to [email protected] or in our office 287 Beames Ave, Mount Druitt. You can do this by calling the office in the days prior to your viewing to request an application form be emailed to you, you may pick them up from our office or use the online application system 1Form / Ignite through realestate.com.au which saves valuable time and helps get that step ahead.

Each adult who intends to live at the premises as a primary residence will need the following as a minimum:

·         Completed application form

·         Photo identification – Either a valid Driver’s Licence, Passport or RMS issued Photo Card

·         A second form of identification – Medicare Card, Bank Card or Birth Certificate / Marriage Certificate / Change of Name Certificate from Births Deaths and Marriages

·         Your three most recent work pay slips (if applicable)

·         Your current Centrelink Income Statement (if applicable)

·         Most recent bank statement showing your income being regularly deposited (preferably for the past 3 months)

We wish all tenants the best and endeavour to help you secure your new rental property.
